Cradle Mountain

Cradle Mountain sits on an alpine plateau. The nuggety vegetation, able to withstand long seasons of snow, sits bare in a brief summer. A hand hewn boardwalk leads visitors along the bridal path toward the mountain and the wilderness trail beyond.

Part of artist residency at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Launceston, Tasmania (1996, 1998) and exhibited in resulting solo exhibition, Fragility & Endurance, at the Gallery in December 2000 — February 2001.
